Earlier this week, my family said farewell to my Grandaddy. I gave much consideration to posting what I had been working on for you this week. At last, I decided on a short note to my subscribers only. I value your dedication to reading my blog, and I wanted you to know how much I appreciate it. I did not want to appear silent because you are important to me. I enjoy your comments and encouraging words so much.
I write each week about the importance of family and being present in our homes. My dad told me the glue that holds families together is found in laughter, tears, reminiscent moments, and fond memories.
This week to honor my Grandaddy, who loved nothing but the simple things life had to offer, I have decided not to write but do what I encourage each of you to do; that is to be present with our families; however that may entail.
I will be back next week, same place, same time with more refreshing homespun stories to brighten your day. I will have much to say, so stay tuned.
Welcome Home
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” Romans 15:4
You and your whole family are in my prayers. God bless and bring you comfort through your laughter, tears, and memories. 🙏🏻❤️

Hey Kristen, My condolences to you and your sister. I’ve known your mom and dad for a while now and I love them both so much. Hopefully I will be able to meet y’all sometime. From what your dad told me about your grandfather we all know what a good time is going on for him up there. 🙏. Ronnie
